06/08 - 05/09 - KUWAIT - SHUAIBA INDUSTRIAL AREA - AROMATICS COMPLEX SUPPORTING FACILITIES located outside of the Aromatics Plant Battery limits. - PETROCHEMICAL INDUSTRIES COMPANY - PIC AROMATICS OFFPLOT PROJECT - KNPC MINA ABDULLA REFINERY - INSTRUMENT and AUTOMATION DESIGN CONSULTANT SPECIALIST.
Analysis of the Instrumentation Bechtel Design and materials procured by PIC. PLC-Field Wiring/Connections, PLC points analysis, corrections and required implementations have been carried out. Valid materials have been produced in order to fulfil future needs:
PLC I/O ACCESS DATABASE and relevant necessary excel files.
Loop Drawings preparation relevant to OFFPLOT project, Mina Abdulla Refinery.
Loop Folders preparation, to be used during Loop Checks
Functional Acceptance Test Packages
Final Report mentioning pending future activities.

06/07 - 06/08 - SAUDI ARABIA - QURAYYAH - ARAMCO OVERSEAS COMPANY B.V. (AOC) QURAYYAH SAUDI ARABIA - QURAYYAH SEA WATER PLANT EXPANSION PROJECT. - SNAMPROGETTI SAUDI ARABIAN L.T.D. - INSTRUMENT and AUTOMATION PRE-COMMISSIONING / COMMISSIONING SUPERINTENDENT – Qurayyah Sea Water Expansion with the addition of nine Treatment Modules and important modification to the existing Treatment Modules like: Replacement of the existing individual PROVOX DCS and VMS Systems with new individual DELTAVI DCS and new VMS 3500 Bently Nevada - Switch-Over Activities, Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning, returning back to operation.
04/05 - 04/07 - ITALY - PRIOLO GARGALLO - SYNDIAL and POLIMERI EUROPA Priolo Gargallo (SR) PLANTS. - SNAMPROGETTI S.p.A. - Electrical and Instrument Superintendent – Instrument and Electrical Superintendent on different projects: Internal Plant Areas Sea Side Coast, Emergency Safety Environment Recovery - Stratus Water, Treatment Plants Construction.
11/04 - 02/05 - IRAN - BANDAR IMAM KHOMEINI - FANAVARAN PETROCHEMICAL COMPANY - THIRD METHANOL PLANT - SNAMPROGETTI S.p.A. - Instrument Supervisor - Instrument Specialist – Verification / Suggestions / Corrections of all Field Instrument Installations - Calibrations, DCS Control loop tuning activities - during the Plant Performance Test.
02/98 - 07/99 - Instrument and Electrical Construction, Start-up and Commissioning Manager on Plants of Make-up Demi-water, Condensate Polisher (two Units), Sodium Hypochlorite (from sea water) e Waste Water. Totally Involved on the Designing the miniDCS Configurations relevant to the above plants and their Modbus Communication with the Power Plant Main DCS. Designer of Simulating Plant Configurations specific for the mentioned plants, used during the On The Job Training of the Power Plant operating staff. On the job Training had been carried out during the Erection, Precommissioning, Commission and Start-up of the plants. Realising of the plant configurations and their final applications, has risen his knowledge of the system to a real high level (the miniDCS used are FREELANCE 2000 - Bailey Hartmann & Braun).
09/92 - 12/94 - Instrument Coordinator during Erection, Precommissioning and Commissioning of the OBIAFU/OBRIKOM NGL Extraction Unit and the Pipeline that connects the OB/OB Gas Plant and the ELEME Petrochemicals Company LTD, close to PORT HARCOURT. Experience on ROSEMOUNT DCS “System 3”, LEMMI UPS, SCADA Telecontrols.
05/89 - 12/89 - SELM PETROLEUM s.r.l. - SICIL SERVICES s.r.l. - Engineering Supervisor, for Instrument and Electrical works, during the VEGA “A” Extraction Platform Commissioning and Start-up, at VEGA Field, in Sicily Channel, Mediterranean Sea.
1985 - ESSO AUGUSTA S.p.A. - C.T.A. s.r.l. - Having a good knowledge of the refinery, together with the RELIABILITY TEAM of ESSO RESEARCH had co-operated on surveying and on drawing-up sketches for each protective system of furnaces, boilers and machinery’s of the refinery.
1979 - ALGERIA - ARZEW - SONATRAC - P.I.I.CO. S.p.A. - Ditta G.RICCIARDI - Instrument supervisor during control loops and protective systems transferring from old to a new instrumentation, general field instruments overhauling, on refrigeration, compression and liquefying gas plant (L.N.G.).
1973 - 74 - ESSO AUGUSTA S.p.A. - SIME s.a.s - Instrument supervisor in the position of ESSO witness, during the Erection, Precommissioning, Commissioning and Start-up of a TOSI 440 t/h Steam Generator, a Lube Oil Plant and all the Facilities. In this occasion he had been trained by ESSO on FOXBORO Spec 200 instrumentation and its interfacing to Foxboro Process Computer Fox One for DDC control, on S.I.E. logic systems for sequences controllers, boiler flame detection and protections.
1970 - 72 - ESSO AUGUSTA S.p.A. - COMIS S.p.A. - Electronic and pneumatic instrument technician on maintenance of refinery plants like: Topping, Reforming, Vacuum Pipestill, Power plant - Process and laboratory analyser technician.
